Even their names alone inspire dreams and evoke the exotic : Santa Giulia, Palombaggia, Rondinara, Pinarello, Tamaricciu... With Air Corsica, the most beautiful beaches of the extreme south of the Beautiful Island are less than two hours away from you with a direct flight, so go ahead : go for it, fly away and dive into our turquoise waters... !
Corsica is a little "Tropics" which has invited itself to France but is even better ... Closer to you, our dream beaches in the Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio regions are picture postcards.
The beach of Santa Giulia, located just 7 kilometres south of Porto-Vecchio, is known worldwide for its clear lagoon-like bay with turquoise waters surrounded by white sand. From there, the view of the Cerbicales Islands and the granitic rocks in the middle of the scrubland conjures up a wild aspect to this dream beach which attracts thousands of visitors every year. The site is both a must for relaxation and laziness but also for sailing and water sports or for discovering Corsica's fauna and flora.
The Palombaggia beach, ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Europe, reveals shades of blue against a backdrop of secular pines and pink porphyry rocks... It is one of the treasures of the Beautiful Island. Its shallow waters make it a paradise for children. It also offers a magnificent panorama on the Cerbicales islands which extends to the south with the Tamaricciu and Cala di Lume beaches.
Within the commune of Lecci, the Bay of Cala Rossa is a Mecca for luxury tourism. A blend of green and blue against a backdrop of mountainous needles in Bavella provokes envy within the Guadeloupe and La Réunion landscapes... A short distance from there, anchored in the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio, the Benedettu Beach enjoys a bay that is blessed by the gods. It offers a true haven of peace nestled at the bottom of its peninsula protected by a Roman oppidum towards the City of Salt : Porto Vecchio
The Saint Cyprien beach in the heart of a small gulf, is bordered by the Arasu lagoon. A Genoese tower dominates it and many remains were discovered there near the mouth of Osu. White sand, turquoise water, and red rock: it offers a genuine pallet of impressionist colours with which dazzles the eyes.
Finally, the Pinarello beach with its beautiful fine sandy bay, surrounded by a forest of pines reveals a superb view of the gulf and the Pinarello island. It is probably one of the most beautiful beaches of the Porto-Vecchio region. Over yonder, a Genoese tower watches over the gulf's coves like a benevolent sentinel.
