International Agricultural Show in Paris
Farmers or simple enthusiasts of animals and local products, Air Corsica offers you a taste and smell getaway at the Paris Agricultural Show thanks to its direct flights all year round between Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi, Figari and Paris-Orly.
Organized every year for more than 50 years in February, in place of the Paris-Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, the International Agricultural Show is an opportunity for all farmers to exhibit and promote their know-how and products. The Paris Agricultural Show has become the essential meeting place for all the players in the agricultural world, welcoming nearly 1,050 exhibitors and around 4,000 animals of all kinds every year.
Thanks to this International Fair, you can dive into four different worlds:
- Livestock and its sectors.
- Crops and plant sectors.
- Products from the Regions of France, Overseas France and the World.
- Agricultural services and professions
Among the highlights of the International Agricultural Show are, in particular, activities that make you actors of tomorrow's agriculture, the discovery of the immense diversity of products from our terroirs, educational farms to introduce you to the life of animals and the functioning of the modern farm, the discovery of the milk and dairy products sector as well as an "Employment and Training" space to develop the agricultural sectors and recruit in this milieu which is the second largest employer in France. Finally, the General Agricultural Competition rewards each year the work of the best breeders in the world, a label that allows them to be known and recognized for the quality of their products.
It should be noted, of course, that in addition to professionals and enthusiasts, the Paris Agricultural Show delights the youngest city dwellers every year, who happily discover the joys of farming and contact with animals.
